This afternoon the Olentangy Liberty Patriots traveled to Alumni Stadium to take on our Lady Elks! This would be a defensive battle between two good teams! Both teams battled throughout the first half, but would ultimately head in at the half in a 0-0 tie. In the second half, the Patriots would strike first scoring at the 36 minute mark to take a 1-0 lead. However, the Elks would respond with a goal of their own by Senior Leona Ciarlariello with 19 minutes to go! Unfortunatly, Olentangy would find the back of the net once more and would secure a 2-1 victory.
In other action, the Lady Elks JVA beat Olentangy 1-0. The JVB team lost to Olentangy 3-0.
The Elks will be back in action Wednesday night 9/20 at Home vs. Northmont.
