The Varsity Gold Tennis Team started this season with an 18-match win streak that finally came to an end on Wednesday as the Lady Elks fell to Indian Hill by a score of 4-1 on the road. Despite this setback, their remarkable journey this season deserves recognition and celebration.

While the team's incredible streak may have ended, the spirit that propelled them forward remains unbroken. Losing to Indian Hill was undoubtedly a tough pill to swallow, but it is in these moments of adversity that true champions emerge. The Lady Elks have proven their mettle time and time again, and they will undoubtedly use this experience as motivation to come back stronger.

The Junior Varsity Tennis Team faced a formidable opponent in Indian Hill, ultimately losing with a score of 5-0 at home. The Varsity Black Squad faced Mason on the road, resulting in a 4-1 loss. Every match, win or lose, is an opportunity for growth and learning. The Centerville Varsity Black Team will use this experience to refine their skills and rise to new challenges.

The teams will look to rebound today as Varsity Gold will host Oakwood, JV will travel to Oakwood and Varsity Black will travel to Springboro
