The girls varsity volleyball team knock off Anthony Wayne at home on Saturday. Anthony Wayne came into the match ranked higher in the State Poll despite the Lady Elks having yet to lose a match. The Lady Elks left no doubt who the better team was in the gym Saturday beating Anthony Wayne 3-1 by scores of 25-9, 22-25, 25-17 and 25-19. Hats off to Anthony Wayne who did manage to win a set from the Lady Elks as the team had won 9 straight matches 3-0 coming in to Saturday. The win puts the Lady Elks at 15-0 on the season. The 9th team beat Anthony Wayne 2-0 and the JV team beat Anthony Wayne 2-1. The teams are back in action at home on Tuesday October 3rd as the Lady Elks host Fairmont for Senior Night. The 9th and JV will play at 5:30 pm and at approximately 6:45 pm we will honor our seniors. The Varsity match will start just after 7 pm. Tickets are available online at
