The varsity gold girls tennis team enjoyed another great day on the tennis courts. Coach Long and his staff hosted the Southwest District Sectional Tournament on Tuesday and Wednesday and the Lady Elks shined. Clara Owen won the Singles Bracket and will enter next week's Southwest District Championship as a #1 seed. In doubles it was an all Centerville final as the team of beat Eve Alappatt(11)/Elise Hedrick(9) beat Eva Siler(12)/Sasha Riley(11) in the finals but both teams advance to next week's Southwest District Championship. The District Tournament will be held at the Lindner Tennis Center in Mason, OH on October 12th and 14th. Tennis will begin at approximately 9 AM each day.
