It is no secret in Southwest Ohio that the path to making it out of Districts and on to Regionals passes right through the GGCL Conference which is arguably the best high school volleyball conference in the country. Our Lady Elks are currently 18-2 on the season with both losses coming to GGCL teams. The Lady Elks lost to Mount Notre Dame at home on Monday night in 5 sets by scores of 21-25, 16-25, 25-15, 25-21 and 8-15. The Elks battled but you just cannot make mistakes against teams of this caliber. Earlier this season the Lady Elks beat Ursuline Academy in 4 sets and lost to Seton in 3 sets. So we are currently 1-2 vs. the GGCL. The 9th and JV teams both lost to Mount Notre Dame 2-0.

The Lady Elks travel to Wayne tonight to try and finish up a perfect 14-0 season in the GWOC. The Lady Elks have already clinched the league championship. 9th and JV will play at 5:30 pm followed by the Varsity at 6:45 pm. Tickets are available online at

On Thursday the Lady Elks get their 4th crack at a GGCL school as their regular season comes to an end when they travel to St. Ursula to take on the Bulldogs with 9th playing at 5 pm, JV at 6 pm and Varsity at 7 pm. Tickets are available online at
