For the first time in what seems forever our girls varsity gold golf team will not be playing in the OHSAA State Tournament. It has been an incredible run and this year's team made great improvements but just came up short. This year's team has many returning players for next year and if they choose to work in the offseason I predict we will be right back where we belong. The team finished in 7th place 11 strokes from qualifying. Leading the Lady Elks were junior Nithya Nunna with a 78, junior Brigid Nickell with an 80, sophomore Ava Snow with an 88, senior Meenakshi Edala with an 91 and junior Ava Bressler with a 100. Four of these girl return with a boatload of talented girls coming up so the future is bright!
