The varsity boys soccer team hosted Xenia on Tuesday night in round 1 of the OHSAA Tournament action on Tuesday night at Alumni Stadium. The boys took care of business and built a 4-0 lead at the half with goals by Alex Bucher, Landon Miller, Chinedu Nwokoro and Drew Gaydosh. In the 2nd half the Elks were able to end the game early by getting 4 more goals to make it 8-0 Elks. A new rule this year end the game immediately in the 2nd half when a team is up by 8 goals. Second half goals were scored by Landon Miller, Drew Gaydosh, Jacob Barnes and Nathan Cayot. The win moves the varsity to 12-2-3 on the season.
