The varsity girls soccer team hosted Wayne in Round 2 of the OHSAA Tournament on Thursday night and came away with an 8-0 victory. The Lady Elks led 7-0 at the half and then ended the game 3 minutes into the second half with their 8th goal. The new OHSAA rule stops a game in the second half once the goal differential reaches 8. Scoring for the Elks were Audi Rhyner (3 Goals), Amelia Davis (2 Goals), Savannah Conner, Maya Mercado and Sami Aydelott. This win makes the team 13-3-2 overall and they will now play Troy in the District Semi-Final at Alumni Stadium at 7:00 PM.
