The varsity girls soccer team hosted Troy on Monday night in the District Semi-Finals and came away with a 3-0 victory as Jr. Megan Reichard got the shutout as her defense in front of her was outstanding all night. The Elks were led on offense by Audi Rhyner who scored for the Elks with 4:00 to go in the first half to give the Lady Elks a 1-0 lead heading into the half. In the second half Sammi Aydelott and Maya Mercado both added goals for the Lady Elks to secure the win. The team is now 14-3-2 overall and advances to the OHSAA Southwest District Championship on Thursday October 26th at 7 pm at Kings High School. The Lady Elks will face Anderson.
