The varsity boys soccer team hosted Butler High School on Tuesday night at Alumni Stadium in the District Semi-Final. The Elks were locked in and played an incredible first half of soccer. Drew Gaydosh got a goal early in the first half to put the Elks up 1-0 over Butler. Peter Evans added a goal a few minutes later and the elks led 2-0. Landon Miller scored on a free kick with 12 minutes to go in the half and the Ellks had a commanding 3-0 lead. Jacob Guarasci got an incredible goal late in the first half to put the Elks up 4-0 at halftime. From there the defense and senior Luke Shrivers and senior Matthew Schluter closed out the shutout with their awesome defense in front of them. The Elks won the game 4-0 to advance to the District Final on Saturday at 7 pm vs. Mason at Lakota East. The Elks will take their 14-2-3 record into the District Final game Saturday.
