Leading the charge for the Elks was none other than Evan Wierwille, who scored an impressive 10 points during the game. Talk about a star player! Evan's skills on the court played a crucial role in securing the victory for the team.

Now, let's talk about the significance of this win. It's not just any win; it's the first-ever home victory in Centerville history for the Wheelchair Basketball Team. This is a moment to remember and be proud of. The team showcased determination, teamwork, and sportsmanship, making all of us here at Centerville High School very proud.

It's also worth mentioning that this victory was especially sweet because it avenged an earlier loss to Beavercreek. The Elks showed resilience and the true spirit of sports by turning the tables and emerging victorious.

As of now, the Centerville Elk Wheelchair Basketball Team has a record of 1-1 for the year. They are off to a great start, and we can't wait to see what other achievements they will unlock in the upcoming games.

Let's come together as a school and give a big shoutout to the Elk Wheelchair Basketball Team for their historic win! If you see Evan Wierwille at Magsig Middle School or any of the team members in the hallway, be sure to congratulate them on their outstanding performance.
