Boys Bowling Sweeps Northmont

On Wednesday, the boys' bowling teams swept Northmont on the road. Both the varsity and junior varsity (JV) teams delivered stellar performances, securing victories that highlighted their dedication and proficiency on the lanes.

In a thrilling varsity showdown, the Centerville boys' bowling team emerged victorious with a commanding score of 2610, outscoring Northmont's 2406. The Elks, now riding high on a wave of success, moved forward with a strong 1-2 punch led by outstanding performances from Zach Hartley, Payton White, Zach Hamrick, and Vedanta Maladkar. Hartley led the charge with an exceptional two-game series of 459 (with scores of 235 and 224), closely followed by White's 458 (253 and 205) and Hamrick's 450 (247 and 203). Maladkar also made a significant contribution, shooting an impressive 249. These stellar individual performances underscore the depth of talent within the Centerville varsity boys' bowling team.

The junior varsity boys' bowling team continued the winning streak, securing a convincing victory on the road against Northmont with a score of 2040-1698. The JV team showcased their skill and teamwork, setting the stage for future successes.

Looking ahead, the Centerville boys' bowling teams are poised for further growth and success. The coaching staff, dedicated to player development, will continue to guide and mentor these student-athletes, nurturing their skills and instilling the importance of discipline and perseverance.
