Hello Centerville High School sports fans! Last night, our Lady Elks basketball teams hit the road to face off against Sidney, and it was quite a thrilling night filled with ups and downs.

The action kicked off with our Junior Varsity (JV) team taking the court first. The Lady Elks showed tremendous skill and teamwork, securing a fantastic victory against Sidney with a final score of 32 - 17. Our JV team, known for their determination and spirit, displayed impressive plays that left fans cheering in excitement.

Next up was the varsity showdown, where our talented varsity girls basketball team faced a tough challenge against Sidney. Although the game ended with a 44 - 38 score in favor of Sidney, our Lady Elks fought hard until the very end. Caroline McDowell led the team with an outstanding performance, scoring an impressive 19 points. Emily Grim also contributed to the score with 8 points, showcasing the resilience and skill of our varsity players.

Looking ahead, mark your calendars for the next exciting game on January 17th, where our girls will face Beavercreek. Let's come together to support our Lady Elks as they continue to strive for success on the basketball court.
