Day 2 of the Southwest Ohio Classic Swim Meet was a splash of success for the Boys and Girls Swim Teams. The Prelims, held at the WTRC on Sunday morning, paved the way for an extraordinary day of competition, as many Elks swimmers qualified for the Finals later that night at St. Xavier HS. The Elks truly had a fantastic day, and the results of the Finals are a testament to their dedication and skill.

Girls 200 Medley Relay:
The Girls 200 Medley Relay, consisting of Tanvi Bole, Sandhya Narayanan, Anna Gearhart, and Carson Kien, secured a strong 6th place with a swift time of 1:49.43. Their synchronized efforts showcased the team's unity and determination.

Boys 200 Medley Relay:
The Boys 200 Medley Relay, featuring Caleb Purtee, Emory Pianki, Matthew Fleisher, and William Guerin, demonstrated impressive coordination, earning them the 11th spot with a time of 1:39.58.

Girls 1650 Freestyle:
In a challenging event, Audrey Seger claimed the 14th spot with a time of 19:41.55, while Carla Zeppettella secured 16th place with a time of 20:09.68.

Boys 1650 Freestyle:
William Guerin showcased his endurance and skill, finishing in an impressive 9th place with a time of 17:02.38.

Girls 200 Individual Medley:
Anna Gearhart excelled in the Girls 200 Individual Medley, securing the 8th spot with a time of 2:09.42.

Boys 200 Individual Medley:
Matthew Fleisher showcased his versatility, earning the 11th spot with a time of 2:00.50.

Girls 100 Freestyle:
Carson Kien demonstrated speed and agility, finishing in the 11th place with a time of 53.52.

Girls 200 Butterfly:
Anna Gearhart continued her outstanding performance, claiming the 3rd spot in the Girls 200 Butterfly with a time of 2:06.71.

Girls 100 Breaststroke:
Sophie Sperber showcased her strength, finishing in 5th place with a time of 1:07.43.

Girls Para 100 Backstroke:
Gabi Schopperth displayed remarkable skill, securing the 1st place in the Girls Para 100 Backstroke with a time of 1:46.80.

Boys 200 Backstroke:
Matthew Fleisher impressed in the Boys 200 Backstroke, earning the 16th spot with a time of 2:00.95.

Girls 400 Freestyle Relay:
The Girls 400 Freestyle Relay, featuring Carson Kien, Sophie Sperber, Sandhya Narayanan, and Anna Gearhart, finished in a commendable 4th place with a time of 3:37.20.

Boys 400 Freestyle Relay:
The Boys 400 Freestyle Relay, with William Guerin, Nicholas Smith, Matthew Fleisher, and Caleb Purtee, secured the 10th spot with a time of 3:15.09.

In the Diving Finals at West Clermont High School, Peter Evans claimed the 11th spot with a score of 274.70, and Carson Huxtable secured the 23rd spot with a score of 193.30.

The Elks' swimmers and divers showcased exceptional talent and dedication at the Southwest Ohio Classic Meet, leaving a lasting impression with their outstanding performances. Congratulations to all the participants for their remarkable achievements in the pool, making Centerville High School proud!
