The Varsity Girls Bowling team recently participated in the Baker Bash at Beaver-Vu Lanes in Beavercreek, where they demonstrated their bowling prowess among 20 competing teams. The event, held on a Monday, saw the Varsity team secure the 8th position overall after a competitive day of rolling strikes and spares.
In the initial round, the Varsity Girls qualified 10th, showcasing their skill and determination. However, despite a commendable effort, they narrowly missed the second cut by a close margin of 26 pins. The competition was fierce, but the Centerville Varsity Girls displayed sportsmanship and a strong team spirit throughout.
The JV Girls Bowling team also took to the lanes at the Baker Bash and finished 8th out of 10 teams. Despite the smaller field, the JV team faced its own set of challenges and emerged with a notable performance.
