Gymnastics Wins The TroyMont Meet

The Varsity Gymnastics team celebrated another impressive victory at the TroyMont meet this Monday, showcasing their teamwork and individual talents. Competing against 12 teams, the Lady Elks demonstrated exceptional skill and determination, ultimately emerging victorious.

Leading the charge was Kaila Weller, who had a stellar day with an outstanding performance. Kaila secured a 2nd place finish all around, showcasing her versatility across all events. She also claimed 3rd place on vault, 4th on bars, 2nd on beam, and 4th on floor. Her remarkable contributions played a crucial role in the team's success.

Paige Rose also made significant contributions, earning a 7th place finish all around. She excelled on bars, securing 3rd place, and demonstrated grace and precision on beam, earning her another 3rd place. Paige's performance added valuable points to the team's overall score.

The team's success didn't end there. Ellie Powderly impressed with a 4th place finish on beam, while Paige Pearson showcased her skills with a 10th place finish on vault. Sarah Sanders contributed with a 7th place finish on bars, and Bella Ferrazza wowed the audience with a 6th place finish on floor. Ann Lehmann and Layna Seymour also added to the team's success, securing 8th and 10th place finishes on floor, respectively.

Looking ahead, the Centerville Varsity Gymnastics team invites the community to their HOME MEET on Saturday, January 20th, at 12:30 pm. The Lady Elks, aiming to maintain their undefeated record, encourage everyone to come out and show their support.
