Girls Bowling Triumphs Over Miamisburg in Tuesday Night Showdown

On a thrilling Tuesday night at Poelking South Lanes, the Varsity Girls Bowling team showcased their prowess by sweeping Miamisburg in a close-fought battle. The Varsity Lady Elks emerged victorious with a final score of 2085-1982, securing their fifth win of the season and solidifying their position in the Greater Western Ohio Conference (GWOC).

The star of the night was none other than Julie Beavers, who led the Varsity squad with exceptional performances in both games. Beavers displayed remarkable skill and precision, recording scores of 204 and 202. Her consistent and outstanding gameplay played a pivotal role in the team's success, earning her the title of the game's most valuable player.

Not to be outdone, the Junior Varsity (JV) team also triumphed over the Miamisburg Vikings with a convincing score of 1373-1181. The JV Elks showcased their talent on the lanes, demonstrating their commitment to excellence. Leading the charge for the Junior Varsity team was Isabelle Atkins, who delivered impressive scores of 174 and 139. Atkins' stellar performance contributed significantly to the team's overall success and highlighted the depth of talent within the Centerville High School bowling program.

As the season unfolds, fans eagerly anticipate more thrilling performances from the Varsity Girls Bowling team as they continue to strive for success in the GWOC and beyond. The victories over Miamisburg have undoubtedly fueled the team's momentum, setting the stage for an exciting journey ahead.
