The Varsity Girls Bowling team had an exciting yet challenging night as they traveled to Beaver-Vu this Friday to compete against Beavercreek in a GWOC match. Unfortunately, the Elks faced a tough loss with Beavercreek securing a victory with a score of 2261-1933.

Despite the defeat, Junior Katie Hatfield showcased impressive skills, leading the Elks with a two-game total of 383. Her outstanding performance demonstrated determination and talent on the bowling lanes. The team may not have emerged victorious, but Katie's efforts deserve recognition.

The Centerville girls' bowling team now holds a record of 5-4 on the season. While the loss is disappointing, the team has shown resilience and will undoubtedly learn from this experience to come back stronger in future matches.

On the Junior Varsity (JV) side, the team delivered their highest baker game of the year, scoring an impressive 174. The JV team put up a good fight but fell short, losing to Beavercreek with a final score of 1633-1502.

Isabelle Atkins played a crucial role for the JV team, leading with scores of 133 and 179. Her consistent performance contributed significantly to the team's efforts, even though the overall result didn't swing in their favor.

Both teams are back in action today at Poelking South in the Boro Invite beginning at 9:30 AM.
