Boys Varsity Bowling Takes Command in GWOC Race with Victory Over Beavercreek

In an exciting showdown on Friday night, the Varsity Boys Bowling team took control of the GWOC race by securing a quality win against a formidable Beavercreek team on the road. The Elks emerged victorious with a score of 2649-2619, showcasing their skill and determination on the bowling lanes.

Leading the charge for the Varsity team were standout performers Jake Hamrick, Casey Lippincott, and Zach Hamrick. Jake Hamrick contributed significantly with an impressive score of 453, closely followed by Casey Lippincott with 452, and Zach Hamrick with 449. Their combined efforts played a pivotal role in securing the win and maintaining the team's undefeated streak.

With this triumph, the Centerville Boys Varsity Bowling team now boasts a remarkable 9-0 record for the season. This victory puts them in a commanding position, standing 2 games ahead of Beavercreek in the GWOC race with 5 league matches remaining in the season. The Elks have positioned themselves as strong contenders for the league title, and their teamwork and dedication are evident in their consistent success.

While the Varsity team celebrated their triumph, the Junior Varsity (JV) team faced a tough challenge in their match against Beavercreek. Despite a valiant effort, the JV team fell short, losing to Beavercreek with a score of 2326-2418.

Both teams are back in action today at the Boro Invite at Poelking South beginning at 9:30 AM.
