This past Saturday marked an exhilarating triumph for our Varsity Gymnastics team as they clinched the 1st place at their home meet. The event not only showcased remarkable performances by the gymnasts but also served as a touching tribute to the team's seniors and Mrs. Mires, who is bravely battling breast cancer.

In the vault category, our gymnasts displayed impressive skills. Paige Rose secured the 9th position, followed by Bella Ferrazza in 8th, and Paige Pearson in 7th. Their collective efforts contributed significantly to the team's success in this challenging discipline.

Moving on to the bars, the team continued to shine. Ellie Powderly claimed the 7th spot, while Paige Rose demonstrated her prowess by securing the 4th position. Notably, Sarah Sanders showcased exceptional talent, securing the 2nd place. These stellar performances underscored the team's strength in various gymnastic disciplines.

In the beam category, Paige Rose secured the 9th position, and Bella Ferrazza impressed with an 8th place finish. The floor routines were equally captivating, with Layna Seymour securing the 8th position and Ann Lehmann earning the 4th spot. The gymnasts' dedication and skill were evident across all apparatuses, making their home meet truly memorable.

In the all-around competition, Ellie Powderly demonstrated her versatility, securing the 9th position. Paige Rose showcased her outstanding overall performance by claiming the 5th spot, further solidifying her status as a key contributor to the team's success.

The meet also featured a successful "Pink Out," a special initiative to raise awareness for breast cancer. The community came together in a show of support, emphasizing the strength and resilience of those fighting cancer and the impact it has on individuals and families.
