Varsity Girls Wrestling team took an exciting journey to Bellefontaine to participate in the Iron Maiden Tournament. This event was no ordinary wrestling meet—it featured a whopping 63 teams from various schools, making it a thrilling challenge for our Lady Elks who finished in 3rd place.

Despite the tough competition, our team showed incredible skill and determination throughout the tournament. We're proud to announce that several members of our team achieved notable placements in their respective weight classes.

Leading the pack was Taylor, who clinched an impressive 2nd place in her category, demonstrating her exceptional talent and hard work on the mat. Additionally, Myers showcased her prowess by securing the 8th position, a commendable achievement among the fierce competitors.

Not to be outdone, Page, Edwards, Ruth, and Smith also displayed outstanding performances, each securing placements in the top ranks of their weight classes. Page claimed 7th place, while Edwards, Ruth, and Smith all achieved 6th place finishes, showcasing the depth of talent within our team.

But the journey doesn't end there for our Lady Elks. Next up, they are gearing up for the OHSWCA State Duals, where they will face off against Taylor High School in Lebanon. The competition promises to be fierce, but with the determination and talent displayed by our team, we have every confidence that they will give it their all and represent Centerville with pride.
