Varsity Girls Bowling Fall To Northmont

Lady Elks Varsity Bowling team faced off against the Northmont Thunderbolts on Monday night at Poelking South. The Lady Elks came up short, with Northmont emerging victorious with a score of 2097-2021.

Leading the charge for the Lady Elks was junior Katie Hatfield, who showed remarkable skill and determination throughout the match. Hatfield achieved an impressive two-game total of 368, showcasing her talent on the lanes. Despite her outstanding performance, the Lady Elks couldn't secure the win this time.

With this result, the Lady Elks' season record now stands at 6 wins and 5 losses. While this defeat is a setback, the team remains determined and focused on improving as they move forward in the season.

In addition to the varsity match, the Junior Varsity girls bowling team also took to the lanes against Northmont on Monday night. In a thrilling display of skill and teamwork, the Junior Varsity Lady Elks emerged victorious with a score of 1418-1342.

Leading the charge for the Junior Varsity team was Isabelle Atkins, who delivered an outstanding performance. Atkins showcased her bowling prowess with games of 146 and 148, totaling an impressive 294 set. Her exceptional performance played a crucial role in securing the victory for the Junior Varsity Lady Elks.
