The Varsity Girls Wrestling Team recently embarked on an exciting journey to Lebanon for the State Dual competition on Saturday. The anticipation was high as the Lady Elks prepared to showcase their skills on the mat.

In the first round of the competition, the Lady Elks faced off against Taylor High School. With determination and teamwork, they delivered an impressive performance, securing a hard-fought victory with a final score of 43-37. Cheers and celebrations filled the air as the team rejoiced in their well-deserved win.

Buoyed by their success, the Lady Elks advanced to the second round with their sights set on a trip to the State Championship Dual Tournament. However, they faced a tough challenge against the formidable Lebanon team. Despite putting up a valiant effort, the Lady Elks fell just short, with Lebanon emerging victorious with a score of 48-36.

Although disappointed by the loss, the Lady Elks remain undeterred. They now turn their focus to the upcoming Washington Courthouse tournament scheduled for February 17th. With determination and a drive to succeed, they are eager to continue honing their skills and striving for excellence on the wrestling mat.
