This past Sunday, the Centerville Coed Dancers dazzled audiences with their remarkable performances at the annual Coed Dance Invitational hosted right here at Centerville High School. While the Elks didn't compete as a team, they wowed the crowd with an exhibition of their state championship hip hop routine, showcasing their talent and skill.

The spotlight, however, was on the Coed Dancers, who took the stage in solo and duet competitions and left a lasting impression with their incredible performances. Senior Brace Redmond stole the show, earning first place in the Senior Classic category and securing the title of Dancer of the Day. Senior Maryna Crawford showed her prowess by clinching second place, while Senior Abby Reitz danced her way to a third-place finish.

In the Senior Select Category, Sophomore Parker Redmond impressed judges and audience alike, taking home the first-place trophy and receiving the highest dancer rating, a testament to his dedication and talent.

The duet categories also saw Centerville dancers dominating the competition. In the Senior Classic Duet Category, the duo of Senior Leah Matthews & Senior Maddie Turber claimed the top spot, showcasing their seamless coordination and artistry. Senior Abby Reitz and Senior Maryna Crawford demonstrated their chemistry and skill, earning second place, while Sophomore Ainsley Corbin and Sophomore Abby Fairs impressed with their performance, securing the third-place position.

As the Invitational drew to a close, the spotlight shifted to the six seniors, who were recognized for their dedication and contributions to the Centerville Coed Dancers.
