Boys Bowling Finishes Historic Regular Season

Boys Varsity Bowling Team celebrated a momentous victory on Senior Night, capping off their Greater Western Ohio Conference (GWOC) season in style. The seniors led the charge, delivering a stellar performance that culminated in a resounding win over Wayne with a score of 2443-2176. This victory not only secured a perfect 14-0 record in the GWOC but also clinched the GWOC Championship for the team.

Congratulations are in order for seniors Zach Hartley, Jake Hamrick, Brody O'Brien, Cohen Pulliam, and Zach Hamrick, whose leadership and dedication were instrumental in the team's success throughout the season. Their hard work and commitment to excellence have been pivotal in shaping the team's impressive 23-match winning streak, with the last league loss dating back to December of 2022.

In addition to their GWOC triumph, the Boys Varsity Bowling program now stands atop the GWOC with the most overall wins, a testament to their consistent performance and competitive spirit on the lanes.

The Junior Varsity (JV) team also showcased their talent and determination, securing a convincing victory over Wayne with a score of 2358-1799. Their success serves as a promising sign for the future of the program, highlighting the depth of talent within the Centerville Bowling program.

With the regular season behind them, the Boys Varsity Bowling Team now sets their sights on the postseason, gearing up for the Southwest District Sectional Tournament on Wednesday, February 21st, at 9:30 AM at Beaver-Vu Lanes in Beavercreek. As they prepare to face off against top competition, the Elks are poised to continue their winning ways, fueled by their passion for the sport and desire to excel on the lanes.
