The Girls Varsity Gymnastics Team soared to victory this past Saturday, securing the coveted title of Dayton City Champions. In a dazzling display of skill and teamwork, the girls showcased their prowess on the gymnastics floor, earning top honors and accolades.

Leading the charge for the Centerville team was Paige Rose, whose exceptional performance earned her 1st place on the beam and an impressive 4th place all-around finish. Not far behind was Ellie Powderly, who claimed 2nd place on the beam and 4th place on bars, contributing significantly to the team's success.

Abby Latham demonstrated her talent by securing 6th place on beam, while Sarah Sanders impressed with a 4th place finish on bars. Paige Pearson showcased her skills with a 9th place finish on bars, further solidifying the team's dominance in the competition.

Layna Seymour's 4th place finish on beam, along with Ann Lehmann's 5th place on floor and Bella Ferrazza's 4th place on floor, added valuable points to the team's overall score, highlighting the depth of talent within the Centerville squad.

Additionally, the team's outstanding performances led to the recognition of eight girls for making the ALL CITY team, a testament to their hard work and dedication throughout the season.

With the Dayton City Championship secured, the Centerville Girls Varsity Gymnastics Team now sets their sights on the upcoming Districts competition. Buoyed by their recent success, the girls are poised to continue their winning streak and make their mark at the next level of competition.
