Boys Lacrosse Pulls Out Close Game At Lakota East

The Boys Varsity Lacrosse team displayed their resilience and teamwork in a thrilling victory at Lakota East on Tuesday night, winning 9-8 in a hard-fought battle. The Elks showcased their collective strength with 7 assisted goals from 5 different players, highlighting their commitment to the team's success.

One of the key factors in the Elks' victory was their solid defense, which held Lakota East to just 1 goal in the second half. This defensive effort, combined with the team's hustle to secure 46 total ground balls compared to Lakota East's 31, played a crucial role in securing the win.

With this triumph, the varsity team now boasts a perfect 2-0 record for the season, setting a strong foundation for future games. Not to be outdone, the JV team also delivered an impressive performance, defeating Lakota East with a commanding score of 12-0.

Looking ahead, the Centerville Boys Varsity Lacrosse teams are gearing up for a challenging Spring Break trip to Kentucky, where they will face off against formidable opponents. On Friday, the boys will take on Louisville Trinity, KY, with the JV game starting at 5:30 pm and the Varsity game at 7:15 pm. Tickets for these exciting matchups can be purchased online for $5 at

The action doesn't stop there, as on Saturday, the teams will continue their Kentucky tour by facing South Oldham, KY. The JV game is scheduled for 11:30 am, followed by the Varsity game at 1 pm, promising another exciting day of lacrosse.
