On Tuesday night, the Girls' Lacrosse team played a tough game at home against Dublin Scioto. Despite their best efforts, the Lady Elks ended up losing with a final score of 17-11. The game showcased the team's determination and fighting spirit as they faced a strong opponent.

Senior player Elise Lenos made a strong start for the Lady Elks by scoring the first goal of the game. Throughout the match, she continued to lead by example, scoring a total of 4 goals and showing great determination until the very end. Freshman Ella Buckingham also made significant contributions with 3 goals and excellent midfield and transition play.

The Lady Elks found themselves trailing 9-4 at halftime and faced a 14-7 deficit heading into the fourth quarter. Although Dublin Scioto managed to extend their lead to 17-7, the Lady Elks didn't give up. They showcased a never-quit attitude by scoring 4 consecutive goals in the final quarter.

Goalkeeper Kara Bentley played a crucial role with 6 saves, helping to keep the Lady Elks in the game. However, the team struggled with unforced errors and limited possessions, which ultimately made it challenging to overcome the deficit.
