Varsity Baseball Team Triumphs Over St. Xavier

On Monday, April 1st, the Varsity Baseball team embarked on a journey to face off against the formidable St. Xavier Bombers. The game was a thrilling display of skill and determination, ultimately ending in victory for the Centerville Elks with a final score of 8-5.

Leading the charge on the mound for the Elks was Junior pitcher Jackson Clark, who showcased his talent and secured the win for the team. Sophomore Luke Maciejewski and Senior Karson Adkins also made significant contributions in relief, ensuring a solid pitching performance throughout the game.

The offensive firepower of the Centerville team was led by Senior standout Karson Adkins, who delivered a stellar performance with 3 hits, setting the tone for the team's success at the plate.

This victory marked an important milestone for the Centerville Varsity Baseball team, bringing their season record to 2 wins and 2 losses. The team's resilience and teamwork were on full display, highlighting their potential for a successful season ahead.

In a parallel match, the Junior Varsity Baseball team faced a tough challenge against the St. Xavier squad, ultimately falling short with a score of 2-0 on the road. Despite the setback, the JVA team continues to show promise, with their current record standing at 1 win and 1 loss.
