Boys Volleyball Falls To LaSalle

In an exciting evening of boys volleyball matches at Centerville High School, the Elks faced off against the LaSalle Lancers with determination and spirit. The JVB team, JVA team, and Varsity team all showcased their skills and teamwork, although the results didn't swing in favor of the Elks this time.

The JVB team put up a valiant effort but unfortunately fell to the LaSalle Lancers in two sets. Despite the loss, the team displayed great sportsmanship and a never-give-up attitude throughout the match.

Similarly, the JVA team engaged in a competitive battle but also fell short against the LaSalle Lancers, this time in three sets. Despite the outcome, the players demonstrated resilience and teamwork, showing promising potential for future matches.

In the highlight of the evening, the Varsity team took on the LaSalle Lancers in a thrilling match. Although the Elks fought hard, they ultimately lost the first set 25-19, the second set 25-22, and the third set 25-23. This resulted in a 0-3 defeat for the Elks at home.

Despite the loss, standout performances shone through. Grant Hapner led the team with an impressive 10 kills and Jack Stevenson and Jacob Massey both added 9 more kills, showcasing their skills and dedication on the court. The entire team displayed resilience, teamwork, and a never-give-up attitude, earning praise from fans and coaches alike.

While tonight's matches didn't end in victory, the Elks boys volleyball teams demonstrated their passion for the sport and their commitment to improvement. With hard work and determination, they look forward to future matches and opportunities to showcase their skills on the court.
