The Varsity Baseball team had an eventful weekend with mixed results in their games. On Friday night, the Elks faced Springfield in a home GWOC game at Booster Park, but the Wildcats managed to upset the Elks with a score of 10-6. Despite the efforts of pitchers Jacob Dice, Tyler Otto, Noah Schoen, and Seth Landsaw, the Elks couldn't overcome Springfield's offense, managing only 6 hits in the game.

However, the team quickly bounced back on Saturday as they hosted Miamisburg and secured a solid 5-1 victory. Senior pitchers Jaydon Benson and Karson Adkins combined their efforts on the mound to lead the Elks to victory. The offense, led by junior Josh Miller and sophomore Colten Burleson with 2 hits each, contributed significantly to the win.

With these results, the varsity team's record now stands at 4-3 overall and 2-1 in the GWOC, showing their resilience and ability to recover from setbacks.

In parallel, the JVA (JV) team also had a successful weekend, defeating Springfield 12-2 on Friday and edging out Miamisburg 3-2 on Saturday, bringing their season record to an impressive 3-1.

Looking ahead, the Elks are gearing up for more action on Wednesday, April 10th. The Varsity team will travel to Miamisburg, while the JVA (JV) team will host Miamisburg at Booster Park, and the JVB (9th) team will host Miamisburg at Schoolhouse Park. These upcoming games provide opportunities for the teams to continue their success and showcase their skills on the field.
