Coed Dance Team Excels at Showcase America National Dance Championships

The Coed Varsity and JV dancers showcased their talent at the Showcase America National Dance Championships held at Whitewater Crossings in Cleves, OH, on Saturday. The competition was fierce, but the Centerville dancers shone brightly with their impressive solos and duets.

Junior soloist Elena Hall stole the spotlight by clinching first place in the Senior Classic Category, earning her a well-deserved gold medal for her exceptional performance.

Co-Captains Leah Matthews (senior) and Brace Redmond (senior) also made their mark. Matthews secured sixth place, while Redmond followed closely in seventh place. Their duet received special recognition with the Creative Concept judges' award.

Seniors Maryna Crawford and Abby Reitz showcased their talent and dedication, earning Top Awards for their remarkable performances that placed them in the Top 15.

Not to be outdone, sophomore soloist Parker Redmond delivered an outstanding performance, earning the highest rating of the day and a gold medal for her first-place finish in the Senior Select category.

In the Senior Classic Duet Category, the dynamic duo of Abby Reitz & Maryna Crawford claimed third place, further solidifying Centerville's dominance in the competition.

Even the freshmen dancers made their presence known. Freshman soloist Reagan Timler impressed the judges and audience alike, securing a commendable sixth place in the Junior Classic Category.

The Centerville Coed Dance Team's success at the Showcase America National Dance Championships highlights their hard work, talent, and dedication to excellence. Their achievements are a testament to their passion for dance and the exceptional coaching and support they receive.
