The Varsity Softball team showed their prowess on Saturday with a successful trip to Central Crossing High School, securing two impressive victories and extending their flawless season record to 10-0. In a tight match against Central Crossing, the Lady Elks triumphed 2-1, showcasing their determination and skill on the field.

In the first game, pitcher Hayley Arnold stood out with a remarkable performance both at bat and on the mound. Arnold delivered a powerful homerun and displayed her pitching prowess with an outstanding 15 strikeouts, leading the team to a hard-fought victory against Central Crossing.

The Lady Elks continued their winning streak in the second game against Heath, dominating with an impressive 18-3 victory in just 5 innings. Lillie Hopf emerged as a star player, going 3 for 5 at bat, including a homerun, and contributing 6 crucial RBIs to the team's commanding win. Pitcher Ally Middleton also shone brightly, securing the win on the mound with 6 strikeouts to her credit.

The Centerville Varsity Softball team is set to return to action on Monday, April 15th, with a home game against the Beavercreek Beavers at 5 pm. This game holds special significance as the Lady Elks will be celebrating Mollie Paulick, who is set to become the first-ever softball player inducted into the prestigious Centerville Softball Hall of Fame. Paulick's outstanding contributions to the sport and her team's legacy are being honored in this historic induction. While she's not yet eligible for the Centerville Athletic Hall of Fame, as the rules require a 10-year gap after graduation, Paulick's early recognition speaks volumes about her impact on Centerville Softball.
