Following their home win, the Varsity team traveled to Miamisburg to finish a game that had been postponed due to rain. In a nail-biting contest, the Elks emerged victorious with an 8-7 win in 8 innings. Senior Karson Adkins played a pivotal role, securing the win on the mound and delivering the game-winning RBI. Sophomores Colten Burleson and Luke Maciejewski also made significant contributions with doubles that tied the game in the 7th inning, setting the stage for the team's dramatic victory.

The JVB team faced Miamisburg in a doubleheader as well, with contrasting results. They suffered a loss in the first game with a score of 16-4 but bounced back strongly to secure a convincing 13-1 win in the second game, bringing their record to 3-3.

The Centerville baseball teams are gearing up for more exciting action on Monday. The Varsity team will hit the road again to face Beavercreek, while the Junior Varsity team will host Beavercreek at Booster Park, and the Junior Varsity B team will host Beavercreek at Schoolhouse Park.
