The Girls Varsity Lacrosse team faced a tough match at home against Springboro on Tuesday night, resulting in a 21-8 loss for the Lady Elks. Despite their efforts, Springboro managed to pull away, especially in the second half of the game.

The game started with both teams showing strong defensive play, keeping the score relatively close. However, as the match progressed into the third quarter, Springboro gained momentum and widened the point gap.

The Lady Elks showcased resilience and determination, keeping the game competitive until halfway through the third quarter. However, Springboro's offensive prowess ultimately proved too much to handle for Centerville.

With this loss, the Varsity team's season record stands at 5 wins and 5 losses, highlighting their competitive spirit throughout the season.

In addition to the Varsity game, the Centerville Girls Junior Varsity (JV) Lacrosse team also faced Springboro on Tuesday, experiencing a tough match and losing 11-2.

Looking ahead, both teams are back in action tonight as they travel to Chaminade Julienne to take on the Eagles. The JV game is scheduled for 5:30 pm, followed by the Varsity game at 7:00 pm.
