The Boys and Girls Track teams are putting in the hard work as they prepare for what promises to be an exciting postseason run. Recently, the top 8 track athletes from both the boys and girls teams traveled to Louisville, KY, to compete in the prestigious Eastern Relays held at the University of Louisville on Friday and Saturday. This competition is providing a valuable opportunity for our top athletes to showcase their skills on a grand stage.

Meanwhile, the remaining members of the varsity team participated in the Olentangy Liberty Freedom Relays on Friday night. At this event, the Girls team secured an impressive 5th place finish, while the Boys team demonstrated their prowess with an 8th place finish, highlighting the depth and talent within the Elks track program.

Looking ahead, the Centerville track teams are gearing up to host the Criss & Rita Somerlot Field Event Classic at Centerville on Sunday, starting at noon. This event will bring together talented athletes from various schools, providing a platform for our Elks to shine in field events.

Following the Field Event Classic, the full teams will be back in action on Thursday, April 25th, and Friday, April 26th, at the Wayne Invite hosted at Troy High School. These upcoming meets are crucial as the teams fine-tune their skills and strategies for the postseason competitions.

With dedicated athletes, supportive coaches, and a commitment to excellence, the Centerville Boys and Girls Track teams are poised for success as they chase their postseason goals. Fans can expect thrilling performances and fierce competition as the Elks continue to make their mark on the track and field circuit.
