Elks Baseball Team Falls Short Against Fairmont in Hard-Fought Battle

The Centerville Elks baseball team faced a tough challenge in last night's game against Fairmont. The Elks ultimately fell short with a final score of 8-5.

Despite their best efforts, the Elks were unable to secure the win against their opponents. The team displayed determination and grit throughout the game, but Fairmont proved to be a strong adversary.

Pitchers Jackson Clark, Tyler Otto, and Noah Schoen put in a solid effort on the mound, showcasing their skills and determination. However, Fairmont's offense proved to be too much for the Elks to handle this go around.

With this loss, the Elks' varsity baseball record now stands at 9-5 for the season. While it may be a setback, the team remains focused and determined to bounce back stronger in their upcoming games.

As the season progresses, the Elks remain committed to their goal of success. With their dedication and teamwork, they are poised to make a strong comeback in the games to come.

In other action, the JVA team beat Fairmont by a score of 8-1. Their record is now 10-3. Also, the JVB team beat Fairmont by a score of 8-1. Their record is now 8-4.

The Elks Varsity Team will be back at it tomorrow night taking on these same Fairmont Firebirds at Fairmont High School. Game time is 5pm.
