Boys Varsity Tennis Faces Tough Matches, Varsity Gold Team Suffers First Loss

The Boys Varsity Gold Tennis team encountered a challenging match on Monday, resulting in their first loss of the season against Mason with a score of 4-1.

In a parallel match, the JV Gold team also faced Mason at home, putting up a strong effort but falling short with a score of 3-2. The competition was fierce, highlighting the skill and determination of both teams.

On the road, the Varsity Black team competed against Hamilton Badin, facing tough opposition and ultimately losing with a score of 4-1. Despite the outcome, the team demonstrated their commitment to the sport and their ongoing efforts to improve and succeed.

Looking ahead, the Centerville Boys Tennis teams are gearing up for their upcoming matches. Today, the Varsity Gold team will host Fairmont, while the JV Gold team will travel to Fairmont for their respective matches. Both contests are set to begin at 4 pm, promising another round of exciting tennis action as these talented athletes showcase their skills on the court.

As of now, the Varsity Gold team holds a commendable record of 6 wins and 1 loss, highlighting their strong performance throughout the season. The Varsity Black team stands at 6 wins and 4 losses, continuing to strive for success and improvement. Meanwhile, the JV team boasts an impressive record of 11 wins and 1 loss, showcasing their dedication and skill in junior-level competition.
