The Boys Varsity Volleyball team delivered a good effort on Tuesday night as they traveled to Fairmont and secured a commanding 3-0 victory. The Elks limited their mistakes, winning the sets with scores of 25-19, 25-22, and 27-25. This win marked a significant turnaround for the team, breaking a five-game losing streak and putting them back on track.
With this victory, the Varsity team's record for the season now stands at 5-12 on the year. The Junior Varsity (JVA) team also tasted success, defeating Fairmont with a 2-0 win, highlighting the depth and talent within the Centerville Boys Volleyball program.
Fans can look forward to more thrilling action as the teams return home for their next games on Thursday, April 25th, against Wayne High School. The JVA team will kick off the evening at 5:30 pm, followed by the Varsity team at 6:45 pm.
