The Varsity Baseball team delivered an impressive performance on Wednesday, securing a commanding 11-0 win against Wayne in just 5 innings at Wright State University. The victory showcased the team's skill and determination on the field, marking a memorable moment in their season journey.

Senior pitcher Jaydon Benson played a pivotal role in the game, earning the win on the mound with his stellar performance. Junior Seth Landsaw also contributed significantly, closing out the game and solidifying the Elks' triumph over Wayne.

One standout player from the game was sophomore Ryan Muchmore, who was named the MVP of the Reds Showcase Game. Muchmore displayed exceptional batting prowess, going 3 for 3 with a double, contributing significantly to the team's offensive success.

With this victory, the varsity team's record now stands at 10 wins and 10 losses overall, with a commendable 7-6 record in the Greater Western Ohio Conference (GWOC). This achievement reflects the team's resilience and ability to compete at a high level throughout the season.

Not to be outdone, the Junior Varsity (JVA) team also secured a convincing win against Wayne, triumphing with a score of 7-1. Likewise, the Junior Varsity B (JVB) team displayed their skill and determination, clinching a tight victory against Troy with a score of 6-5.

Looking ahead, the teams are gearing up for more exciting matchups as they continue their season journey. The Varsity team will host Wayne at Booster Park in an upcoming game, while the JVA team is set to travel to Wayne High School for their next challenge.
