Girls Track & Field Leans On Their Depth, Wins GWOC Title

The Girls Varsity Track & Field team demonstrated the power of teamwork and determination as they secured the GWOC Championship. Despite only earning one 1st place finish in the 4x100M Relay, the Elks showcased their depth and competitiveness, outdistancing Beavercreek with a final score of 148-140.

The concept of being a complete team was evident throughout the meet, with every member of the Elks contributing to the overall success. While individual wins are impressive, the Elks' ability to battle for every point and support each other was key to their victory.

The Centerville Elk Girls Varsity Track & Field team's victory is a testament to their unity, perseverance, and dedication to excellence. Each athlete's contribution, whether in sprints, relays, jumps, or throws, played a crucial role in securing the championship title. The Elks' commitment to being a complete team paid off in a well-deserved victory at the GWOC Championship. Next up is the District Championship for the Lady Elks on Wednesday May 15th and Friday May 17th beginning at 3:30 pm each day at Bellbrook High School.
