Boys Varsity Lacrosse Team Clinches First Ever GWOC Title

The Boys Varsity Lacrosse team achieved a historic milestone on Friday night, securing their first Greater Western Ohio Conference (GWOC) title with a dominant 18-7 victory over Beavercreek on the road. This win marked a significant achievement for the team, capping off a remarkable regular season.

The Elks showcased their prowess throughout the season, finishing with an impressive record of 15-3. Their flawless performance in GWOC matches, with a perfect 5-0 record, highlighted their consistency and determination on the field. The JV team beat Beavercreek 9-8 to end their season with an overall record of 13-3-1.

As a result of their outstanding performance, the Centerville Boys Varsity Lacrosse team earned the #2 seed in the upcoming Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) Tournament. This seeding reflects their strength and competitive spirit among schools in the state.

Looking ahead, the team is set to host the winner of the Gahanna versus Hilliard Bradley matchup on Monday, May 20th, at 7 pm. The game will take place at Alumni Stadium, providing an exciting opportunity for fans to support their team in the tournament.
