Elks Baseball Team Soars into Postseason with Victory

The Varsity Baseball team continues to shine as they gear up for postseason tournament action. Their recent game against Bellbrook resulted in a solid 8-3 victory for the Elks. The game, held at Booster Park on Monday night was the last tune-up prior to postseason play beginning.

Junior pitcher Jackson Clark played a pivotal role in securing the win, throwing 4 impressive innings and earning the victory for the Elks. Clark's performance demonstrated his composure and ability to control the game from the mound.

On the offensive front, Junior Gavin Kent and Sophomore Camden Weckesser stood out with each contributing 2 hits to the team's success. Their consistency and ability to make crucial plays added depth to the Elks' lineup, showcasing the team's overall strength.

With this victory, the Centerville Elks Varsity Baseball team's season record now stands at 13-12 overall, highlighting their resilience and competitive spirit throughout the season.

Looking ahead, the Elks are set to begin state tournament play today, weather permitting, with a home game against Belmont at 5 pm.
