Last night, the Centerville High School varsity baseball team played an outstanding game in the first round of the state tournament, crushing the Belmont Bison with a score of 15-0. The Elks' pitchers were unstoppable, combining for a no-hitter.
Casey Lippincott was the winning pitcher for the Elks, showing impressive skill on the mound. Tyler Otto and Luke Maciejewski also contributed, making sure the Bison couldn’t get a single hit throughout the game.
The Elks’ offense was just as strong. Zach Hamrick led the team with two hits, helping Centerville score an impressive 15 runs. The team’s performance was a true display of their talent and teamwork.
