The game started with Centerville struggling to find their rhythm. By the end of the first quarter, they were down 5-1, and by halftime, the score was 9-2 in favor of Pickerington Central. However, the Elks showed incredible resilience and determination in the third quarter, narrowing the gap to 12-7 as they headed into the fourth quarter.

In the fourth quarter, the Elks displayed true grit, fighting back to tie the game at 13-13, which sent the match into overtime. Despite the loss, the Elks have a lot to be proud of. Their season was marked by numerous victories and a commendable overall performance. The seniors, in particular, played a crucial role in the team's success, demonstrating leadership and dedication throughout their high school careers.
