The Varsity Girls soccer team thrilled a packed crowd at Alumni Stadium on Friday night, defeating Alter 2-0 in an exciting match. The game was part of the Friday Night Futbol event, and the Lady Elks did not disappoint their fans.

Amelia Davis was the star of the game, scoring both goals for Centerville. Her first goal came after a great pass from Johanah Rhyner, and the second was set up by a perfect assist from Samantha Aydelott. The Lady Elks' defense was strong throughout the game, and goalkeeper Megan Reichard was outstanding, earning a well-deserved shutout.

The JVA team also had a great night, beating Alter 3-0. Not to be outdone, the JVB team started their season with a 4-0 win over Mason.

The Lady Elks are back in action on Tuesday night at Chaminade Julienne. The JVA team plays at 5:30 pm, followed by the Varsity team at 7:15 pm. Fans can buy tickets online or at the door, with prices set at $7 for adults and $5 for students and senior citizens.
