On Saturday night, the Varsity Girls Soccer team faced off against Oak Hills, one of the best girls' soccer teams in the Cincinnati area. The Lady Elks fought hard but lost a close match, 1-0. The game was intense, with both teams giving their all. The Lady Elks had some good chances to score, but Oak Hills' defense held strong and kept Centerville from getting the ball into the net.

This loss brings the Lady Elks' season record to 2-1. Even though the Varsity team didn’t win, there was some good news: the JVB team managed to beat Oak Hills with a score of 1-0. However, the JVA team faced a tough challenge and lost 6-0.

The teams are ready to bounce back and will be playing again on Monday, August 26th, at home against Lakota East. The JVA game starts at 5:30 PM, followed by the Varsity game at 7:15 PM.
