On Tuesday night, the Centerville Boys Varsity soccer team faced a tough loss at home against Northmont, with a final score of 2-1. Peter Evans scored the only goal for the Elks, but it wasn’t enough to overcome Northmont’s two goals. With this loss, the Varsity team’s overall record now stands at 1-1-2.
On a brighter note, the JVA team had a great game, beating Northmont 4-0.
The Elks will be back on the field this Saturday as they host Mason. The JVB game starts at 4:00 p.m., followed by JVA at 5:30 p.m., and the Varsity game at 7:15 p.m. Tickets are available online with no fees at or at the door for $8 cash.
