This past Saturday, the Boys Varsity Cross Country team traveled all the way to Flagstaff, Arizona, to compete in the Northern Arizona University Invitational. The Elks showed their strength and determination, earning an impressive 3rd place overall.
Leading the team was Daniel Emmert, who had a fantastic race and finished 7th. His strong performance set the tone for the rest of the team. Jagger Noel, Owen Zeiser, Jacob Porter, and Mitchell Job also scored points for the Elks, helping secure their top finish.
The race was run at a challenging altitude of 7,300 feet, but the Centerville boys handled it like champions. Racing at such a high altitude isn’t easy, but the team’s hard work and preparation paid off.
The Elks raced great and made Centerville proud with their strong performance in Arizona!
