The Centerville High School varsity volleyball team had an exciting week with back-to-back wins. On Tuesday night, they played at home against Fairmont, winning the match 3-0. Then on Thursday, they traveled to Wayne and once again took the victory with another 3-0 sweep. These two wins bring the Lady Elks' record to 6-2 overall and 4-0 in league play. The team is now on a three-match winning streak.
It wasn’t just the varsity team that found success. Both the JVA and JVB teams won their matches against Fairmont and Wayne, each finishing with a 2-0 score.
The Centerville volleyball teams are back in action on Monday, September 9th. They will be traveling to Mount Notre Dame, where the 9th-grade team plays at 4:30 pm, the JV team at 5:30 pm, and the varsity team at 6:45 pm.
